Pump Impeller Type

K-type impeller - This is a closed, non-blocking impeller that is suitable for transporting clean water, sewage, and media containing solids. The medium should not contain solids that are particularly prone to adhering to and entangling with the impeller, such as extra-long fibers or coarse rubber particles.

N-type impeller - Closed multi-blade impeller. It is suitable for conveying medium containing light solid suspended matter, such as clean water, mechanically treated sewage, sorting water, pulp, sugar juice, etc. This impeller structure is preferred for pulp pumps.

Mission MAGNUM XP Pump is ideally suited for pumping high volumes of heavy slurries that are abrasive, corrosive, or just plain tough to pump. The Magnachrome centrifugal pump is built to deliver superior fluid handling performance in a variety of applications. Its performance incorporates the power, durability, and ease of maintenance of the field-proven 'MAGNUM I' with new high-strength material in critical component areas. A chromium-alloyed iron provides greater wear resistance and higher strength in the casing, stuffing box, and impeller.

This new alloy gives the casing a hardness of 600 HB, and the impeller and stuffing box a hardness of 450 HB. This process gives the critical components in the MAGNACHROME a more uniform structure; and a 30% carbide content versus hard iron with its soft graphite flakes.   • The pump shell (that is pump body and pump cover) forms the workroom of the pump. The impeller, shaft, and rolling bearing are the rotors for the pump. Suspended bearing units support the rotors in the pump. The rolling bearing stands for the radial load and axial force.
  • The axial sealing ring is composed of packing glands, packing rings, and packing to avoid air admission or severe water leakage.

  • To avoid abrasion of the shaft, the part where the shaft runs through the packing chamber is fitted with a protective muff. O ring is fitted between the muff and shaft to protect against air entering or water leaking along the matching surface.
  • The pump is connected to the motor with an extending flexible coupling. The pump turns clockwise when you look from the driving end.

  • The inlet and outlet of TSH pumps are below the axial lead of the pump, vertical to the axial lead to form a horizontal direction. For check and repair, it doesn't need to dismantle the inlet and outlet pipes and motors. Viewed from the driving direction. The pump makes a clockwise rotation. (If requested, it can be changed to counterclockwise).

  • Main parts of pump: pump casing, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double suction sealing ring shaft sleeve, etc.
